Default 1965 wood steering wheel, wood width

The width of the wood on my wood steering is 0.75" (Face on)
Is that a nominal value?

Are you asking if that's the correct width? Is that a teak wheel or the "wood look" plastic wheel?

Its a teak wheel.
After looking at other teak wheels in pictures, the width appears a bit smaller.
That's why I'm asking what others have.

Mine seems small in section too - but it's a reproduction from Crane.

My teak wheel is 3/4" wide looking down at it from the faceside. I can't see the rim but yours looks like an original to me. Bill

Now that I see the rim, it looks like its been re-done. My middle insert pieces are darker than the top/bottom teak pieces. The inserts are supposed to be rosewood. Bill

Here is mine. As far as I know unrestored original. 0.75’’ wide looking straight at it.
