Default Who knows glove box brochure for A.I.R. C2s?

Has anybody heard of such a brochure for the smog-equipped California C2s? Does anybody has pictures of that brochure, he can share?
Thanks for your help
Peter

Peter,
Here are few pics; it's call Sun, AIR, and Wheels. Best of luck finding one of these. 5-66 date, part #1382037, 17 pages, big $$, no repros.

Never seen that, even though I bought a year-old Calif. AIR '67 in 1968.

Never seen or heard of one, and I have been in CA and working on A.I.R cars since the '70's. Rare, indeed!!! Thanks for sharing, vark.

Wow! New to me as well, and I’ve been around Corvettes in CA since 1965.

I suspect most owners threw away the brochure- along with the AIR system - shortly after purchase or when the warranty ran out! No smog checks to renew registration back then!

Any body with a AIM willing to check the K19 section to see if the factory was to put it in the glove box or was this a dealer hand out

Yeah, it was almost a rite of passage to trash the AIR junk back then; throw away the pump, plug the exhaust manifold holes, richen the idle, recurve the distributor. No smog checks at all.

Yup! My buddies and I did that on at least 6 cars that I can remember.

K19/A.I.R was an option for the 67 model. (mandatory for many Calif cars) I've seen paperwork for cars sold in other states that were ordered and equipped with the K19 option.

It's in the 1967 A.I.M. Miscellaneous Shipping List - UPC 0, sheet C1, P/N 1382037, Booklet - Sun, Air & Wheels, place in glove box.

Would you happen to be willing or know someone else that has a copy of the 5-66 Sun, Air, and Wheels that would be willing to make a scan or a photocopy? We're more than willing to pay for the copies. I'm a research librarian and one of our faculty, along with some retired auto industry engineers, are working on a book for the SAE on the history of pollution control devices in American automobiles. I've tried obtaining this booklet via interlibrary loan and purchasing from out-of-print booksellers and, unfortunately, can't get it from ebay due to purchasing restrictions. Sorry to all for the bother/begging. I'm just trying to exhaust all possible sources for this booklet.
