Where is Spring
Don't know what it's been like in other parts of the country but here in the northeast (Ct) winter just won't quit. I've been a Corvette owner for 49 yrs and lived in this area and until now have never gone thru the entire month of March without getting in some Corvette drive time. Not to mention none of mine have even come out of the garage for a spring clean up in the driveway because it's been so damn cold. Today it's snowing here again and that usually means the local roads will get coated with that nasty slime that turns to white powder. I refuse to use the roads until we get a soaking rain to wash away the effects of the treatment.
Guess I'm frustrated and will probably not get over it for another week or so when maybe it will warm up here and the roads will be clean. Hope many of you in other areas are not experiencing the same.

It has been an awful Spring so far. Cold, snow, rain, 3 Nor'easters. I have still managed to get the cars out but the rides have been few and far between. I did sneak out for a short ride this morning before the next round of snow and rain starts any minute.
Hang in there, it should start warming up.

Flurries here in Albany also. Had it out two weekends ago. I let my oldest son drive it for the first time. He was surprised how hard it steers with out power steering. He had a ball!
WAITING for that sunny 50'ish weather.

81 degrees here and all the trees in bloom. Squeezed some fresh orange juice this morning and enjoyed a nice breakfast on the patio. Here we didn't GET any spring...it went from winter straight into summer.

The calendar says it's spring but it ain't.
I got about 150 miles on my C7 and about 50 on my '67 a week and a half ago.
I had to go to Texas on 2 different business trips in the last two weeks and it was nice to get away from this crappy weather.

I thought it was just a slip of the tongue when the Groundhog said 6 more months of winter. I guess it wasn't.

I can normally get out in the convertible in mid March. Not this year or last. Last year it was cold and rained til the end of June. Looking like the same thing again this year .......

Unstable, full range weather in the mid-atlantic area since the new year. Right now it's 70, very sunny. Forecasted to drop by morning with rain and slight chance of snow toward the evening. Crazy! Dennis

Sorry to read about my Northern Corvette brothers, and the crappy weather. That's the main reason I moved from the Pittsburgh area to Wilmington. In fact, had one of the "old" cars out today; Sunny 78 degrees w/all the azalea and magnolia blossoms out. Pretty drive. Again, sorry Northern guys.

Get used to it for the next 70-140 years or so. Maunder minimums, and such. The recent 40 year warming trend was an anomaly.
Whole northern part of the country is bad. Still snowing in MT, too, I see.

For the rest of us, YEP, Illinois is pretty cool and wet. More snow headed this way. Haven't had a chance to wash either car and the forecasts don't look good. Oh well, working on taxes anyway.
