Thanks. I agree, the color combo is one of my favorites.

Ed, I think I envy your fleet more than that of any CF member--we have the same taste.

Thanks for the pics. Great underhood shot, very clean. Most of those cars have been modified under the hood.

Cars such as this example, back in the day, were much, much more than an assemblage of metal and fabric, or a conveyance. Cars like this were the means of transport to an entirely new, different, and better "place."

I'm pretty sure (see avatar) that I've never gotten over it.

Guys, if I ever won the lottery (of course I'd have to buy a ticket) I will be hunting for a car as nice and desirable as this one. Also a 65-67 GTO, a W30, a 1970 convertible Challenger, a 1970 Cougar Eliminator, a 69 Mach 1, (you fill in the rest).

Thanks for sharing, OP.

Took this one out today for the first time since November. Car started immediately with its Sears Die Hard that was installed in March, 1999. Car was purchased new by my mother in 1961 and still wears its original
paint. 79,897 miles as of today.

Also a today picture of some little friends trotting over to see the car.

My pleasure. I’m a sucker for low owner documented cars.

Nope a guy from my home town keeps on insuring me he can fix it. Along with everything else. He just has to give dad a day to bring it in. The car is down to bare glass. No other isiues.

I have a 69 Camaro too. They make great "other" cars when you've got a couple extra passengers. Neat car you have there.

I took this to the local car show about 30 miles away and it was screaming on the Expressway with 4.11 Gears. It was built to run stop lights!

Not the prettiest color combo, but pretty rare. That is the original interior. The passenger seat has a small tear and it kills us when a judge wants to deduct for that. Car also has 4 wheel disc brakes.

This is what makes it special when the hood is open.

In the interest of complete accuracy my buddy lets me drive his cars to keep them running as he has little time and too many cars.
