Not the prettiest color combo, but pretty rare. That is the original interior. The passenger seat has a small tear and it kills us when a judge wants to deduct for that. Car also has 4 wheel disc brakes.

This is what makes it special when the hood is open.

In the interest of complete accuracy my buddy lets me drive his cars to keep them running as he has little time and too many cars.
i have to laugh at your comment about judges taking points away from your 50 year old interior because of a small tear. My driver seat has a 1/4” rip in the vinyl. I NEVER take my cars to any place where it can be judged because of things like that. Ridiculous.

I sure did. I’m always amazed at the collection of cars that role in. I think there were 3-4 McClarens yesterday and several Ferrari’s. Gotta love it. My favorite unrestored 67 Vette 427 AC coupe was there. Such a cool car.

Other than the Corvette coupe i have 2 SL`s and i simply love the looks of your 300 SL

I just wish i had a 190 SL and not to speak of a 300 SL

x2 on deducting for a tear...is there enough solid material where an upholstery guy could sew it up? Good thing about those short stroke motors is running down the hwy at 3500 wont hurt em. Hey it sounds good right?

Dig the older benzs, early 70s era. Amazed at the money they pull these days even beat to hell

Default 1970 Z28 LT1 $-speed now over 60K miles.

Due to needing a home for an extra car. I volunteered a space in my garage. This is the car I requested. I was driving it when it rolled over 60K. Car has never been apart with one respray. Other than wheels it is bone stock. I had it for about 8 months only drove it a few times.

I had always wanted this car. The good thing just seeing it in my garage helped get it out of my system.

Darn it! I just couldn't pull it off, and they are on break next week-end.

Oh well, summer will just be getting started.

Wow, a $134 for an AM/FM radio??? Seems like you could almost get a BB upgrade for that much.

An indication of how needs and wants change - so many high dollar options of those long gone days are standard equipment today. And probably can't be deleted even if you want to.

My other car, just not as clean as the others posted here. This car is the truest definition of a 20 footer, looks great until you get close enough to see the warts and scabs.

That car is gorgeous. Jealous on this front!
Not a Vette but who cares! Nice Car.

How many miles? It looks to be a very low mile car.
