Le Mans Master
My cousin has a 1969 427/390 almost done. He is doing a true blueprint on this engine. That takes a lot of time. He is almost done re working all the Head Chambers so they will CC identically and he smooths everything for better flow and to reduce detonation. It will sell for $10,000 plus when done but he has done great engines for 45 years and it will sell by his reputation. I've told him it belongs in my 1966 but he has not taken that bait.
He wants to sell this one.

Since this thread has covered the purchase and move, I have another one started to follow progress as the rehab begins.

I've had the'56 for about seven months. Car was local residing in Henrietta. I had seen the car and the owner a few times at local shows. Had been looking for a '57 or '56 so took a shot to see if the owner wanted to sell and the rest is history. Car is onyx black w/black convertible top, silver cove, red interior, dual quad 265, 3 speed. Body off restoration 10 years ago. My '67 conv./Goodwood Green/white top/327 300 4spd. No more garage space so this is it for now. How far along did you get with the'56 pictured above?
