My restomod is DONE. Well kind of...
Just wanted to share my 2.5 year journey w/ the forum on what I've done to a '67 with a few photos, I'm sure you can spot the obvious but there are the not so obvious changes:
-blue LED bulb in all of interior lighting
-LED backup lights
-backup camera
-power door locks hooked up to a Viper 2 way alarm w/ shock and motion sensors
-64 bent needle gauges w/ 200 MPH speedo
-EFI on an L88 intake setup
-Bowtie "Nitrous" block, Brodix heads, Edlebrock intake, forged internals
-Serpentine system w/ Vintage Air
-Finned coolant expansion tank for better cooling that Big Block
-Tubular Upper A Arms for more caster
-Bump Steer kit
-16:1 power steering box
-Large remote reservoir in aluminum for better heat dissipation.
-QA1 shocks w/ springs for BBC
-Long rear leaf spring bolts
-275/315 tires
-Wilwood brakes
-3 point belts for the street w/ 4 point on driver's side
-C4 GS seat in passenger side
-battery relocated to behind passenger
-homelink rear view mirror
-hardwired for V1 radar detector
So far everything seems to be fine, car drives fine but I have less rear tire clearance on one side than the other and wonder if anyone can tell me if the body can be lifted a little and then shifted to the side w/ more clearance?
But anyways, here are a few pictures:
BTW my red '67 is now up for sale in C2 For Sale section, check it out...

I kind of like the blue instr lights. Nice looking car, BTW.
As far as your tire clearance, how much difference do you have one side to the other? I assume you a re referring to fender lip/ tread side clearance.
From the factory, i have never seen a car that was a truly even side to side when large tires are stuffed in the wheel wells. You appear to ahve widened fenders , so who knows how even the flares or installation was.
Its little late now but an easier fix is to get wheels with more (?) backspace and use a say 1/4"(or whatever) spacer to bring the other wheel out a bit more so they are even.

I really like the overall look of the car. It has an aggressive road race theme. The gray and the black look great with the wheel choice. How about a couple of more pictures? I would really like to see a frontal view to get a look at that molded in spoiler.

I agree but I need a fix back bucket seat but I want one seat back that can fold forward so at least if I go to the track, I can still throw the floor jack, tools, tent, chairs, etc. in the back.

Not a good angle but you can see how naked the front looks w/o the bumper so I had to add a spoiler to balance it out. Still have to add a rear diffuser at some point.

That's nothing John, I used to race a 911 GT3 and carried on the car:
4 wheels with Hoosier tires inside tire totes in the back seat
1 floor jack in the front turnk
2 folding chairs above the tires/wheels
1 folding tent above the chairs
1 lunch cooler on the floor behind me
1 tool bag on the floor behind passenger seat
1 helmet bag in front trunk
1 grocery bag of snacks in front trunk
and 1 girlfriend (no room for the second one )
Those were the good old days.

When there are lots of clearance with skinnier tires, then you don't notice the body alignment isn't symmetrical but w/ hardly any clearance then even a tenth off to either side is noticeable. I have to give the tires more negative camber than ideal to clear the fenders now. Here are the two sides...
1. Where is the tire hitting? There should be a rub mark somewhere. Photo?
2. How much negative camber did you have to put in to get where it is now?
3. If you had 0 degrees negative camber, how much clearance was there between fender lip and tire?
4. With your current camber, how much clearance is there between tire and fender lip.
I ask because I am building a car and right now my tires with no camber at all rub the inner lip. I have a couple options but I would like to understand your issues in hope I can avoid the results you currently have.

You should post a video with the engine idling. Would love to hear those pipes....

Thanks for the additional pictures! That right rear tire is tight. Hopefully with a little creativity you can get that worked out.
