1960 ignition switch
Looking to replace the ign switch in my 1960 vette. All the suppliers have is the repro without the light socket and with the terminal configuration that won't accept the harness plug. Is the" original" still available or do I have to take the plug apart and plug the wires separately into the repro switch? Thanks.

The original ignition switch for 60 is a Delco 577. It was used on 60 thru 62 Corvettes. There is no provision for a light socket on it.

Donald, Per your description my switch must not be original. The only stamping on it is 019. It also has the light bulb socket. My main concern is finding a good working one that matches the wire plug. If anybody knows where I can get one I'd appreciate it. Thanks for the Delco 577 part number and info.
