Default Hemi/vette at the car show

Well finally finished work on the car and the sun came out in Oregon. I left the hood closed for a while after I first got to the car show. I purposely put that "392" on the hood to bring out questions. Finally one guy asked if it meant the engine was a bored out 383. That's when I opened the hood and after that there where many oh's and ah's. Ha Ha

I know I’d be looking a loooong time if I came across a vette like yours at a show.

As this old girl has the Chrysler solid rear axle and now with the Jim Meyer 4 link rear suspension everything takes a little tweaking.

The double adjustable rear coil over Viking shocks were set at the near minimum setting. Hitting big bumps on the way to the car show causes the drive shaft to scrape the belly.

I talked to Viking and his suggestions on tightening up the compression setting worked on my test drive yesterday with the top down.

Ahh I do love to drive this old girl!!
