How do I install a new boot for the Delcotron Generator on my 63 coup?
The new boot doesn't fit the "BAT" terminal on the generator. It's 3/16 " in diameter too small to snap over the orange plastic spacer on the generator. I don't know what it's called. The orange spacer is marked "01-2505, IPM.

Photo would be a great help. Need one for the terminal on the generator and also the rubber boot.
I knwo that the rubber boots for the alternator for later year models will require the crimped on eyelet terminal to be removed off the end of the wire so the rubber boot can slide on the wire and then reattach the terminal.
