[C2] new rotor has something stuck in it ??

Default new rotor has something stuck in it ??
Hopefully I'm just being a dumbass... I am putting my rearend stuff back on and happened to notice one (new) rotor has a piece of metal in it. I'm hoping you guys will say this is normal and is used for balancing...

Yes it is used to balance the rotor .
