Default 66 value

Trying to figure value of friends 66 he may sell in the near future. Here is what saw - it is a maroon 66 white conv top and hard top , base 327 numbers matching, now the bad part - has been sitting since 1990 tires shot bumpers some rust interior smells , not sure yet if motor turns , front wheels don't turn, body in good shape for a driver, frame looks ok. Anyway of determining the value ? Car is located in NJ in case anyone knows someone who could give us an idea of value.

Thanks Don

not enough information, type of trani, options, etc. but a minimum of 23,400 based on Corvette DNA app.

To even get a ball park value, you need to post a lot of pics of the important areas. IMHO

Whatever the value is guessed here on the forum, add 25%.

it would have to be missing a bunch of parts or have bad body parts to get a low number like that

I agree. If complete and in decent shape (solid) I would think 30k would be the absolute minimum. No such thing as a 20-25k complete C2 in my neck of the woods, not for a long time.

Sitting where? In a garage under a cover, or under a tree?

Too many unknown variables to make any kind of guess. Bumper rust, you say? How about frame rust or birdcage rust? If any of that is present, all bets are off. How serious an inspection of the frame did you do?

Detailed pictures at the very least and even then hidden rust is a possible major value hit.
