I want to replace my '59 rear shocks but I can see there is only about 1 inch gap at the top to take out the bolt. Is there a trick on how to access the bolt? I don't see how an open wrench can squeeze in there.

I had to cut them off.
Small hacksaw.. alternating with my buddy in 10 minute shifts - due to muscle cramping!
