Default Got Very Lucky

Wicked storm in NJ last night, 5 seconds after my neighbor stepped in the garage to ask for a flashlight this came down behind her.

Oh my. It's amazing how much those trim limbs weigh. I had one about a quarter size of that come down in my yard and they are truly widow or widower makers if you get hit....

TOO close! That would have been so tragic, glad it wasn't her time.
On a car related note, is that an early Cougar I spy in the first picture? Sure looks like the shape of one to me.

She a very sweet girl. My wife is house bound during the day and she stops to see her weekly.
The car is a '68 Cougar XR7 that I bought for my wife a few years ago. It was her dream car back then.

My high school car was a'67 Cougar in what we now call Bullitt Green (as in Steve McQueen). Loved that car.

Lucky for her, indeed, and for you, that it missed the house.

No question. God has treated very well. I just worry that pay back will be a bitch.
