61 conv. top lid tabs
Is there a picture are a diagram of how to attach these covers to car at each door jamb? Did all 61 corvettes have these at the door jambs to cover this opening? They are missing on the car I have.

They snap on to the top of the rear door jamb and are secured by two screws on the underside of the deck lid and all cars (well at least soft-top cars) got them. Don't overthink it; position the snap at the top of the jamb to where it looks taut and pleasing and mark the two screw holes and carefully drill pilot holes and install. (Might have to remove the seat to mark the holes though).
Many don't realize those tabs have a slotted fastener for the snap....that should be situated parallel to the driveshaft tunnel when snapping them closed. Then when you hit the big silver deck lid button the lid will raise and withdraw the tabs from the snaps automatically. At 10 seconds into this video you'll see how this works:
The 61 Assembly Instruction Manual should show them if the picture is insufficient.

If you have a white top and a black interior should the tab match the top?

Just a side note. The original tabs ( at least the two sets I had on original 61 & 62) had female snaps on the tabs, instead of slotted fastener. Very easy to forget they are attached, hit the deck button and after time it rips the female snap from the tab. The slotted fasteners are much more forgiving and what most if not all suppliers sell these days.
