Anybody going to Mecum Indianapolis May 15-20th?!!
Just curious if anybody is going to Mecum next week. I’ll be there From the 16th-20th trying to sell my polished all aluminum 289FIA Kirkham. Come say hi if you are attending.

I’ll be there as usual. Best of luck with your sale.

Come say hello. I should be in the staging area early tomorrow morning. There was a good bit of attention around the car today and unfortunately, a lot of disrespectful people banging on the aluminum with fist and knuckles and a good bit of rubbing on the car with belts and badges, but i suppose that is just part of it. Ill send you my number in a PM.
I should have arrived yesterday, but my new trailer had a bearing burn out and I spent 7 hours broken down getting it repaired.

I was at LICS yesterday talking with Todd Cohen about his dads tanker collection being auctioned. These cars will pull big big money on Saturday.

Sorry I missed you. My week was a train wreck.
I did get a shot of your car, though.

Every time I have consigned a car with Mecum I have had to argue with them about the price and then argue for a decent spot. I'm not consigning cheap cars with them either, these are all 100-200K cars. So, would i recommend them, absolutely not, unless you have a Ford GT.

Thanks for the input. That seems to be the general consensus. It seems like BJ works harder for the sale but no reserve is certainly a gamble.
Its a collection of cars and trying to see what the best route might be.

If you have an entire collection of cars, then I’m sure they would give you good time slots.
i just get angry when they tell me one of my cars isn’t worth what I’m asking, them I show up at the auction and they have total turds with a projected value higher than mine.
