C1 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
Default Hardtop Plexiglass Replacement

I see many threads and help on completely refurbishing a C1 hardtop, but is it easy to just change out the side plexiglass, or do you have to dismantle the top to replace the glass? Haven't looked at one in decades, but have one coming in a few weeks. Everything looks pretty good except some crazing to the side windows.

Thanks,

butch

replacing the side quarter windows is relatively easy; it should be intuitive once you look at it

I replaced my side windows, wasn’t hard. Got new plexiglass from a glass place (be sure and get correct thickness) and used the old glass for a pattern. Came out great!

If you're trying to replace scratched and cosmetically bad windows, lot's of these products will make it like new.
