Yesterday, installed rebound straps on my '60 and planning to replace bushings and hardware on the rear sway bar today. If time allows, may also get new engine mounts installed too!

Where will the windshield fluid reservoir go? I'm assuming it and the battery can't be in the same location at the same time.

Front brake hoses, wheel cylinders and shoes on the 63 split window (the rear got done a couple of months ago).....
Its been over three years and lots of miles and a wheel cylinder was leaking (all drums BTW)...

Don't enjoy brake work much but safety first...

Weirdly, one of the NAPA shoes - leading shoe on just one side needed the hole for the shoe retaining spring saddle drilled larger for the piece to fit ....

Jack I remember doing that awesome ride with you along that same route. We had so much fun on that trip. I just enjoyed the ride again in my mind. A great start to the day for sure.

Went to a friends machine shop and made some parts for my project 63. Best part about it was that I still have 10 whole fingers!

Then I spend anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, more if I'm inspired, doing some little something to them. It doesn't seem like much at the time, but after 6 months, you've really got a lot done. Some days it may be as simple as dust then off, or check the oil, clean the wheels. Other days, I may take off some part and clean it up or paint it. It all adds up.
That is a good life...

I am planning a restomod C2 build. I am retired (not really by choice, don't get me started on how America is drowning in credential-ism and age discrimination) but I am still not quite 59 1/2 so the restomod has to be planned right now and not built.

Not quite retired, but took mine down the the Fall Cars & Coffee at Laguna Seca on Saturday. The locals have quite the eclectic collection of cars, close to 100 years of automotive history there on the island.

3 other C1s were there besides mine, only one C2. The '58 in the first pic was pretty much perfect.

Never hard of this even though I live in the South Bay. Just looked it up and will try to make one of them next year. Thanks for mentioning these events.

Yesterday I installed LED lighting on my 4 post lift as an assist for my old eyes. 3 4-ft single tubes on each side. Used magnets and double sided 3M tape to attach. Made a HUGE difference in visibility. No more drop lights!

Both sides powered by a single cord with on/off switch. All that's left is to hang the cord off to the side and out of the way.

Default Death

Reviewing my Will. Just curious what everyone are going to do with their cars when the Eternal Bus comes. I have no one with any interest. My daughter would probably trade it for a Subaru.

Hi , you have brought up a very good question that many of us will face in the next few years . Mentor a relative or someone you want to have your car or sell before you are not able to ...

Drove the Hemi/Vette over to Costco yesterday. Parked way in the back. When came out two guys standing there looking at her. He asked a lot of questions but wasn't a Vette guy just remembered them from High School. Didn't we all.
