Please allow me to blow your minds.
The spare wheel/tire in my 56 is one of the ORIGINAL tube type 6.70-15 BF Goodrich that was on my 51 Chevy when my Granddad bought it new. It holds air, fits perfect in the tire well and the (carpeted) tire cover fits flat. No, I do not intend to use it for driving. If any of the tires on the ground ever had a flat, I would install it and then call AAA.

Does anyone have experience with the new American Classic bias looking radials? They offer a 6.70 R15 with a 2.75 WW.

I know Coker has a spotty reputation; not certain if American Classic is manufactured by Coker. They certainly are intriguing for a C1; probably a bit expensive for a C2 spare in the tub!

To fit what?

These tires were used on lots of different cars. I posted a list of newer vehicles that they were also used on.

my 62 corvette. BUT, your list doesn't give any idea of lug pattern or hub hole size

No wheel, just the tire.

The same tire is showing up on Walmart for $58.82 (tire only).

Because I am ASSUMING that you will remove the tire from whatever wheel it is on, and mount it on your S-10 wheel.

incorrect assumption; i'd buy the kumho tire first if I already had a S10 wheel (which I don't..)

Regarding not fitting on the front 61 hub... mine won't! I tried it!
I recall that then I bought it (and discussed on threads here)... The S10 it came off was 4x4. Maybe that's the difference?

I don't know... but caveat emptor!
