WOW! $8 dollars a gallon for gasoline. With a C2 Corvette having an 18-20 gallon gas tank, I hope you bought the $8 per gallon gasoline for your lawn mower.

and to your dismay the 100 LL gas has ethanol. Since Dad does not drive his 67 427 car that much I took it and got 6 gallons off 100 and 6 gallons of 93 ethanol free gas the bill was less then 80 bucks.

Hmmm...If you like speed and hate the cost of gas....buy a Tesla. Help save our planet, and have the fastest production car currently sold. Has anyone here driven one???? 0-60 in 2.8 sec.....feels awesome, and no exhaust smell at all. Don't put Tesla down till you have driven one. Nothing like it. I have had my fun with old cars. unsafe, always need work of some kind, not that fast compared to todays cars. If you want attention at any car show, show up in a Tesla. Nothing like it. Many have never seen one. It is a hoot. Not to put anyone down. To each his own.

How do you go fast, save the planet and be safe just because it's a Tesla?

Seems to be a major disconnect in your statement.

Can you really save the country by charging a battery, by making a battery, by disposing of a battery?

The reason many have never seen one (or few) is because those cars are only popular in Limited areas of the country. Probably most, high density population areas.

I don't think many here care about a Tesla, this is an old Corvette site and very unlikely your comments are going to sway anyone here.

Default Lead & zddp

If you find a "real lead" additive go ahead and put it in & ZDDP.. why not. it can save your valves, a cam and a lot of $$$ & misery.
Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way, my 2 pennies, my experience.
