Default 67 Tri-power center carb cam bracket - question

I'm trying to determine whether the circled part of the center carb linkage 'cam' is proper on a '67 tri-power. I supposed it could vary depending on 400/435, trans and options. Anyone have a definitive word on this?
Many thanks.

That was for the 400 with a auto. You can see in my picture the black rod with the yellow spring gets attached to the ball.

Thank you. So is this part of the cam supposed to be present on a 435 or 400 4-speed?
