Default Installed a Reproduction 15" Wood Steering Wheel

What a difference that makes, I have always loved the look of the wooden wheel when I see one on another C2. I can't believe how easy they are to install, maybe 5 minutes.

Looks really good, I like them also, they stand out when you see it.

Looks good and I didn't know those were available. Although I'm guessing you have power steering or at least you don't have your manual steering set on the fast ratio position.

It's a non power steering car, so it had a 16" wheel, ill have to see how that goes! I lined the two up, it doesnt visually look like the diameter change would make that much difference, but I'm sure it does. I am a stubborn engineer that has to learn everything the hard way, but I promise that I will appreciate the "i told you so"

Love it. A wooden wheel is the cherry on top for a C2.

Is it a Freeman?

How much more legroom under the steering wheel getting in/out? An improvement?

There is less than a finger width difference, so it doesn't change much.

I put a 15" Freeman "Fat Boy" wheel on my 65 coupe. I love it. The diameter is slightly wider and It also has 2" less dish. So it gives you more room in two ways.

I just put a 15" wheel in my non-power steering car. Gave me more leg room and much more comfortable. Didn't notice any difference in steering feel with the non-ps. I love the smaller wheel!

I made my own 14" wheel from an old Grant wheel. I know I've seen 14" wheels in the past but they all seemed too thin to me. It feels better with a thicker wheel and it gives you a better grip when moving slowly in a parking lot. It definitely makes the steering harder, so you need the better grip to muscle the wheel around.
