The shade of blue is beautiful. I also love how you tied the color of the gorgeous interior into the side coves.

It seems to me the "less" you do to a C1 or C2 the "more unusual it is" these days...lol.

I like “newstalgia”. It looks like the original but is more comfortable, reliable, and fun to drive. But I respect those who go for all original. My car was too far gone to do that.

Ironduke,
Wow. Really like your car. What's up with the casket in the background in your shop?

Lol, the guy doing the upholstery was doing something with it. It is his shop. The garage is my place. I never noticed the coffin in the picture before. So funny.

Yes. Well worth the wait and Mike Stockdale is so great to work with. Always returned my calls and was willing to spend the time to discuss any and all of my concerns. I'd recommend him to anyone thinking of an aftermarket chassis.

Absolutely...mine either in fact it is three cars. They won't let me call it a "Restomod" because it doesn't have a LS....but does have everything else, so it sure isn't stock?.
Maybe I can finally come out of the "nomenclature-less desert" with a "Newstalgia car"...LOL!

If that's your original phrase Ironduke, I love it....PERFECT!!! Heck,I love it even if it isn't original to you..lol.

Wikipedia: Newstalgia ...a term started on corvetteforum.com describing a "Newstalgia custom car" " which looks like the original but is more comfortable, reliable, and fun to drive."

Hah hahahhh...allrightey then.
Happy trails...Stan
