Interesting way they write, "injuries incompatible with life..."

Will be interesting to see how, and/or why, he was shot.

Unfortunately, I already have "scenarios" running through my head.

Shot? How awful....condolences...
Sobering. Yes, several scenarios spun through my mind as well.
Suffice it to say I've cooled down a lot while driving lately.....even if people tailgate or cut me off....you just never know...

Fiberglass body equals kit car to some people.

Yes that is because news reported that Police removed part of the interior once foul play was suspected.

Wow! Long gun or handgun will tell an important tail. My condolences to the family.

True, but at 5:30am, I'm guessing there is more to it...perhaps a possible car jacking? I don't know, but Frankie makes a good point; you better think twice before flipping someone the bird these days.

What is that area like? I realize bad stuff can happen anywhere but is this a shady area? Sorry for a slight hijack but my wife has to make a trip to about 10 miles away from where that happened. Just wondering what to expect.

I must admit it's a long shot, but I feel a little sick to my stomach. I had the opportunity to purchase a 56 a few years back and passed. The car went to Texas to an older gentleman. I sure hope this isn't the car.
I see the wheels are red, but that's an easy change. The car I passed on was a 3 owner car, and after I passed I by chance ran into the original owner. I'm gonna send the lady who had the one I passed on and see if she knew the name.

The shifter **** is white and the one I had was chrome. Also do you think the "kit car" comment is correct? I notice not emblem on the nose?

RR, I thought Conroe and the Woodlands used to be real nice, but haven’t been there in years. Like you said bad can happen anywhere. Everything is speculation right now. Carjacking, suicide to look like car jacking, road rage, family problems. Who knows. There was doctor killed in Houston last month by a guy who upset about his mother’s death with doctor that happened 20 years ago.

No problems in that area. Very safe to travel to. Just an unfortunate incident. No new details today. Who knows what really happened.

What a twist to this incident. When the term "foul play" was used the thought of a gun shot never entered my mind. Several possible scenarios exist including a random shooter. I think if it was self inflicted the police would have been able to determine that by now. Hopefully if it is murder they will be able to make an arrest.

That’s right by where they have swap meets, always thought it was a safe area.

Fenders and roof look like the car has been sitting outside in the elements, not stored in a garage.

i doubt road rage at 5:30 AM but could be. Accidental self inflicted? Theft attempt gone wrong? Premeditated murder? Very puzzling. There tends to be a lot of cameras in the area of airports so maybe there is some video.
Very sad though.

The only new detail is that the news released the drivers name as Allen Todd Johnson.
