Went to see Frank today. Frank was scheduled to practice getting out of his wheel chair into a car seat and visa versa. The practice car couldnt make it so they used my CR-V. I was surprised to witness how far Frank has come. He was able to perform this procedure with just a little help from his therapist who is also teaching Frank's son how to help Frank to complete the procedure. It wont be long before his family will be able to take Frank out for a drive.

Thanks for the update, Dan! It prompted me to dash off a quick note to Frank, which I have been meaning to do for too long. Glad to hear he's making such good progress!

BUMP for a great Guy and his supporting family. If anyone else is in the Columbus area, please stop by and visit Frank. After reading about him, I decided to just be bold and show up, not really knowing what to expect. As usual, anytime you get around most Corvette people, it's like instant friends! Like anyone recovering from a stroke or other life-altering events, Frank needs support, and a visit I'm sure is always appreciated. I need to get back to see him as well.
Frank, here's to a continued recovery, we are hearing that you are progressing right along and looking forward to seeing you out in your car some day!!

Dear Corvette Forum Family,
It’s with great sadness that I’m letting you know that Frank’s beloved wife Kathy has passed away. She had been ill for several months but remained strong in support of Frank. She was his partner, rock, and best friend. They were married for 42 years. Needless to say, Frank is extremely sad that Kathy is gone. He has lots of family around him and is holding up OK, but the sadness is obviously overpowering for him at times. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Friday, February 15 at Schoedinger’s on Zollinger Rd. All are invited. You can find more info here: https://www.schoedinger.com/obituari...la/#!/Obituary
Thanks for all the kindness you have shown - and continue to show - our family. Your friendship means the world to us!

Oh my gosh Sis! I'm just shocked. So sorry to hear that, and Frank has to be devastated... We will certainly keep Frank and the whole family in our prayers. Certainly, if there is anything that we as a Corvette family can do to help out, please let us know.
