New Owner & Looking for a good shop in Cleveland
Hello,
My name is Tom Leigh and I just took ownership of a 1967 Coupe. I live in Madison, Ohio up on Lake Erie and am in need of finding a good shop to perform some maintenance on my Vette. Could please recommend a few of your preferred shops in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Thanks
-Tom

I live in Norwalk and have two shops I use, one local to me and the other in Fremont, 30 miles west of Norwalk.
Both shops are run and owned by car guys. That is a bit far from you, perhaps 120 miles. I don’t know any place on the east side, but I will ask some car friends from your side of town. Stay tuned!

Give Elio Martin a call *(330) 635-9900. He is in Litchfield, OH and does fantastic work. You can tell him you got his info from me. Good Luck.

I will second Corvette Conspiracy in Cleveland. They did some work for me last summer and while they had my '63 they found other issues that I was unaware of. Got them taken care of as well.

Just moved to Cleveland heights
Dear forum, I just bought a home in Cleveland Heights. When getting the 63 Corvette convertible on the ground, it got stuck in Reverse and first. Do you know anyone i can get in contact with to get service at my house? Even help change the rev lockout pin that is stuck/broken?

welcome to the forum. Great looking coupe.
l’m on the East side and had work done by Ruth’s corvettes and I am good friends with Craig. Unfortunately, I think Craig has moved on to other opportunities and may do work for just some long timeC1 C2 clients and is focused on his Cheetah car business. If you can get craig to work on your car he is great. He designs his own cheetah cars and has a BS in mechanical engineering. Craig and his Father have been in the corvette business for 50+ years.
since Craig slowed down, I have had a great experience with Mike’s Corvettes South Russell. Mike only works in C1 and C2s and he does it all and top notch work. Mike is a class act and I would not hesitate to let him do body or engine/mechanical work. I think he owns a 58 Bloomington gold he restored and is a real gear head, drag races high speed drag bikes as a hobby. His paint and body work is exceptional as well. He typically has a couple killer restomods that he has created for clients as well in his shop. I’m saving my money for full paint and body to be done by Mike.
PM me if you want more info or to chat. This forum is great.

I once lived in Shaker for a while but now a little further out East. See my response to Tom. Mike is great shop in South Russel. Highly recommend.

Tom and JP. I have only heard good things about corvette conspiracy and John the proprietor of the shop. However, j have never used his shop so I can’t comment on personal experience.
welcome to you both and your cars to Cleveland. Best to drive them now as we already had our first snow fall.

You don't say what kind of Maintenance you are looking for, that might be a big help. Most of us prefer to do as much work as we can ourselves, but to each his own.
