Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) we have a new Harbor Freight 10 minutes from my house. I'll be going there later today to waste some money, too. Like my wife says, I really don't NEED anything when I go there. However, they have a new freebie coupon I haven't seen before for a 6-piece detail brush kit that I'm sure I should get..

Steve
bought their Viking brand battery maintainer $31.99 and they have a 20% off coupon so $25ish

I also think a c5 Zo6 is a wildly attractive package on its way back up!
Woodward is one heck of a road. Not kidding on any given Thursday, Friday, or Saturday you will see quite a bit of cars out.

safe travels and keep enjoying your cars! That’s what they are made for. I hope to be in a c1/2 in the next couple years. Next step is having kids so who knows how long that will actually be...

I can recall plenty of early morning drives, but the ride that popped to mind upon reading about yours was: Driving my newly bought 67 roadster from MI to CA, I was hurtling along an empty road in New Mexico at the end of the day in mid-November 2002. It was frosty and there was snow on the ground and I was driving in the late-day shadow of a mountain range. As the road made a broad bend to the west, I suddenly came upon a lifetime-peak sunset that was mirrored in the snowfields beside the road and, especially, was reflected gloriously from the Sting Rays hood and fender peaks. At that very moment through the earbuds of the CD player came the Seekers crooning, “There’s a new world somewhere they call the promised land….” Perfect!

Tom's right Benton, you really need some covers on those wheels......

I love the quiet, early morning rip.....looking forward to getting mine back on the road in the next two or three weeks just in time for the weather to cool off a bit!

First sub-70 degree day in Chicago. Good for driving further than usual.

Awesome, I remembered we were in the same camp. your rims just freshly painted or powder coated? I’d powder coat mine but I wonder if it would make the hubcaps harder yet to install when I needed to.
