1960's Chevrolet Corvette Manual racing set up
Gents;
I recently read in the description of a 1968 former B production racer that Corvette Mike is selling on Ebay, that Chevrolet produced a manual in the 60's that described how to set up frames and suspension for racing. Does anyone have a copy of this? What is the title? Is it out of print, or can I find it somewhere?
Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Chevro...4383.l4275.c10
Thanks,

There was an article on how Guldstrand Championship C2 cars (the 1963 &64) were set up, that was the earliest! Then you had the little pocket book that said how the Delorenzo cars were setup. Briggs had catalog parts based on what was in Greenwood’s Corvettes. The book he is probably referring to I see come up and it is actually a mid70s thin book called Corvette Trans Am prep (I would have to find mine to get you the exact title! In about 1972, Guldstrand authored another article on Racing suspensions prior to his first catalogs, featuring an Autocross Coupe! The Trans Am built article isn’t as detailed in the mid70s released Chevrolet Power book. That is the book I think that has the Greenwood Chevrolet Part Numbered wise body panels! I would shoot a picture of a page or two, but I am not copying any books for anyone. I don’t have that type of time available!

The Chevrolet Power Manuals have sections on competition engine preparation, SB, BB, Cosworth Vega, and V-6 in later editions. I believe all have sections on vehicle dynamics and Corvette chassis/drivetrain preparation for competition. The latter two sections are an excellent way to learn about vehicle dynamics and chassis tuning.
