I looked for one for two years, educating myself on the various aspects of the breed first..... "culling the herd" privately.
I had several close advisors helping me via email and pictures who owned 63s....Rich Yanulis, rich5962 and a few others...
Only 3 cars made my short list. I didn't "shotgun" selections from a bunch of web sites....

I did my own on-site inspection and got an original car with original drivetrain....setting aside perfection to get a solid car with some things that needed addressed.

It ain't that hard....

Looks like a nice one. FI would be to many problems for a novice to purchase.

I think both the VIN and trim tags are OE, but the trim tag rivets have been replaced. Most likely conclusion to draw is that the trim tag is from another car.

Some rattle can resto on the rear and front suspension.
