Default Relocated E-brake Tab/Brake Hose Interference Fix

Going with 17" wheels to open up tire options so moving the e-brake tab to top of trailing arm. So what have you guys done with the brake hose? As shown in the pics the e-brake cable and brake hose will rub. Longer hose? Elbow? I don't recall any mention of modifying/re-routing the brake hose regarding moving this bracket. Looks easily fixed with a 45* or 90* elbow, but I know you guys have already solved this. TIA

This link is for a C3, did you relocate the bracket in the same spot as shown in the pictures, your parking brake cable looks looks it has a lot of strain on it.

Yes, Buns sent me that picture. We're locating it just like that. The car is in the air so the trailing arm is fully down. The e-brake cable doesn't seem to be a problem in the new location.

No. We're relocating the e-brake tab this morning and just seeing the cable has moved where it rubs the brake line. It was fine in the stock location on the outside face of the trailing arm.

Sorry. Rereading my thread title it's confusing implying that I'm posting a fix. I'm looking for the fix. At this moment we're exploring a different fitting on the trailing arm, but looking for how others solved this.

Yeah, my title is confusing.

Default Moved bracket

This is what mine looked like after I moved the parking brake bracket. Nothing goes outboard of the trailing arm.
