Default Old barn pics if my 66'

I know my car is not for everyone! But had to share these old pics.
I tracked down the gentleman that owned it last. He had passed away and his family sold it. His brother has been great and shared with me some old pics and info about the car.
Apparently she was a custom built drag car in the 70's-80's. Then she sat in a cabinet makers barn in NH for many years until it was rescued.
Here are the pics of when she was found. Primer red, BBC w/ dual quad tunnel ram and some big old slicks and side pipes!
Last pic is how she sits now.

I’m the last person to ever comment negatively on someone else’s modified car. Both of my Corvettes are heavily modified. I think yours looks fantastic, particularly for its vintage and intended purpose. Thanks for posting!

It's a candy apple red of some sort. It's amazing in the sunlight!
My buddy who owns a local body shop was very impressed with the body work and paint. Someone took a lot of time and effort back in the day.

That is a nice paint job.
So someone painted it that way between when the first pics were taken and you got the car?

Yes. The gentleman that passed away rebuilt the car from ground up and had it painted. He is the one that rescued it from the barn. Took him about 15yrs to put together.

Has a little of the Mako Shark look. Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Definitely the imagination of another era. Love the tunnel ram. I remember when those came out in the late 60s. They were the thing to have on the strip in a SBC.

I really like the current look. The color is fabulous. The hood treatment is a major improvement.

Does it still have the BBC in it? I think it's great that some of these custom projects are kept around from the 60s and 70s and cared for - particularly for the older, nostalgic members here. Great looking car.

500+hp 454 w/ factory tripower set up. I tracked down the engine shop and builder in VT and talked with him.
