Nice birds. Must be Rusty Wallace's Lear! Post some pics of the T28 project, way more interesting than old Corvettes.

Winner. I will shoot some pics of the T-28 when it looks more like an airplane and then someone here is certain to tell me that its a fake trim tag

Very nice. My guess would be Roger Penske. Do you ever fly the aerostar into love field?

"For those of you NASCAR fans the Lear was originally N2RW and I bought it from the man when he retired from driving." Rusty Wallace's ex-Lear. It appears you found yourself a very capable '63...patience and homework pay off. Job well done. I hope you enjoy the ownership experience. Most of us here on the Forum are always willing to help.
Looks like Jim is a much faster typer than me...

Fantastic! Glad things are as you expected and/or better. Nice collection BTW!

Side note here---------you might want to fix the left hand wiper. Looks like the rear cover came loose. Turning it on (or just movement from driving) could do a number on things.

Again congrats and thanks for the follow up!

Eric, glad your '63 turned out to be the jewel you were searching for! Great-looking Lear 31 - I was type-rated in the 23A/B (when your feet froze) in 1965.

My first Lear was a 25D with GE 610A pure jet motors. Those were very similar to the engines in the F14 without, of course, the afterburner. Loved the plane but hated the fuel burn.
