Wow! Beautiful restoration of the '63 SWC. The rest of your collection of automobiles and aviation is extremely impressive. I wish you the time to devote to enjoying what you have amassed. Oh nice dog too.

Congrats on your SWC purchase. When I start shopping for my Lear I’ll hit you up for some advice.

Side note here---------you might want to fix the left hand wiper. Looks like the rear cover came loose. Turning it on (or just movement from driving) could do a number on things.

Again congrats and thanks for the follow up!
Good eye, that wiper cover was loose. Thanks.

Congratulations. It looks like a great car. Keep us posted on work you do especially related to the original parts.

Sent the original rocker moldings off to be restored at Paragon and when they get back in about 3 months I will swap them out. Beyond that the rest of the originals parts will probably sit in the boxes. I really don't understand why they put reproduction glass in the car because the original windows look great to me but I doubt that I am brave enough to do a glass swap. With that said, watch the for sale stuff because the glass might show up there.

Love your NSX. My favorite car to drive. Here’s mine.

They are great cars and until recently never really got any respect. I have a couple of Ferraris and they don't hold a candle to the NSX despite being V-8's. When the 1990 models came out the 63 vette was 27 years old and the NSX was a huge leap from the Vette. Now 28 years after the NSX was born a 2018 Vette is still not much of a leap ahead of an NSX except in horsepower. On a short road course I still think the NSX would hold its own.

Unrestored 20,000 mile original car. The original owner bought it in Germany drove it around Europe on vacation and them brought it back to Houston. The car was part of an estate sale in 1992 and was not running because of bad fuel throughout. Cleaned it up and it has been running ever since. Except for a rock chip/crack in the windshield and a door ding above the rear passenger wheel well the car is in remarkable condition.

I’ve been tempted to buy a Ferrari many times. Pieces of rolling artwork. I haven’t pulled the trigger because I can’t get over the cost of service / reliability hence the NSX. It just bothers me. Still love them however.

I am searching for a Nissan GT-R. Ugly yes, but that’s what I like about it.

Ed, you are wise. My Ferrari experience (especially anything post 1996) has not been very good. Once Italy started playing around with electronics the dependability went in the toilet. Had a 430 for about two years and only got towed to the dealer twice. Once because the convertible top got stuck 1/2 up and the second because the paddle shift/starter interlock failed.

430 was the one that tempted me. Such a beautiful car. I could stare at that car for hours.

My favorite is the fiorano 355 spyder. Great car. Mostly analog if you find a 6 speed. With that said the belt service is 20 percent of the car value every 5 years

They frankly saved everything on this car right down to the original seat foam. One of the most interesting things on this car is that the inside of the glove compartment is covered with those self adhesive blue tape labels for each oil change from one of those old school label makers. The interior was in good enough condition pre restoration that the original glove box door was reused.

They must handle REALLY well to hold the road upside down.

Yes but a 55 year old C2 will do that with a shock and tire change. Just saying. I had considered buying and NSX in the past, aluminum body frame and engine impressed me but the insurance premiums did not.

A C2 will do what with a tire / shock change? You must mean look like that certainly not drive or handle like it.
