5 most hated corvettes...more proof the internet is filled with BS
I knew the mid 70's and early 80's corvettes had acceptance issues, mostly due to government regulations during that period. But this should forget the others. I guess it proves anyone can post a U-tube video and proclaim to know something no one else knows.

What's the problem? I thought it was relatively accurate.

That a 63 SW was a hated or disliked corvette? Sure, hasn't seemed to hurt their resale value. I also was quite surprised that the 53-54 C-1's was listed as disliked. since the only examples I can find are asking low 6 figures. Seems those twos models are some of the most collectable corvettes on the market.
But, maybe I'm misinterpreting the word "hated" in his video.

What the guy said about the '63 coupe was true in '63 and true ever since according to many. He also acknowledged the '63 coupe is a most collectible car.
Just because a car fetches a high price on resale does not necessarily make it a desirable car to drive.

Look - I've said all along that I remember when the 58 was considered overdone and garish and avoided by many, The 63 coupe clearly had its detractors - hence the removing of the split. Fast forward over 1/2 a century and the very things that caused these cars to be ostracized are what make them desirable now...
I remember when the Plymouth Superbird was a laughing stock to most car guys - that ill fitting front nose and the riciulous hang glider rear wing - now, I'd have one in a heartbeat..

I can absolutely remember the days when the 63 Split Window Coupes were hated. You could have bought them all day long at 2 to 3 grand. I can see why the are collector cars now because of all the one year only items that separate it from the rest of the C2's.
I still hate them even today but I wish I had all those that I passed up over the years. I would be cashing out right about now.

Cant say I hate them but C1 53-55 are fugly, sluggish and underwhelming.........wouldnt want one ever but respect their place in auto history.
BTW C2 should be from 56-62 and best looking Corvettes ever, 63-67 should be the C3.

Why? They are still ugly as hell. Is it just because they are worth so much money? I wouldn't give up any space for that ugly POS. They were quick, but not enough to get over their looks.

Hate is a pretty strong word. I hate very few cars. The statement on the video about the HUGE blind spot of the '63 is outrageous....has that guy driven a late model Ford Explorer? I didn't care for the superbird mopars then, and still don't. Ugly cars. But I don't hate them!!

Use of the term "hate" is just a writer with a limited vocabulary, which, in this case matches his or her limited knowledge. Pure click bait to generate views from which to sell adds, nothing more.
Internet full of BS? Say it isn't so - like water isn't wet and the sky isn't up.
The democratization of writing accompanying the advent of the Internet just lets any fool spew their stupidity and consider themselves knowledgable. When literacy was reserved for the privileged and educated, you had to try at least a little harder.
Recommendation: ignore click bait.
