Default Water shut off valve- 1967

I have a 1967 convertable (327/300 hp) with AC, ps and powerglide. I have been replacing heater hoses and noticed that I do not have a water shut off valve but instead a manual off/on valve. It looks to me as this is an aftermarket valve but wanted to check with other 327/300 AC car owners. If it isn't correct then should I replace it with the correct oem part?

Not correct. All AC cars had a vacuum operated water shut off valve that gets its vacumn source from a little valve on the heater box It’s all shown in your AIM under RPO C60

Lots of original vacuum valves get replaced with manual valves.
