Default Interior paint color question

My panels on either side of my radio are in need of repainting on my '64. My interior is black. Was the paint originally a semi-gloss or flat black? What resource is available to find this detailed information other than all of you smart people on this forum? Thank you in advance.

Semi gloss black, Eastwood's under hood black or Long Island Corvette supply's semi gloss black, either one is a good match, prep the parts well, wash with a degreaser and spray with light coats until getting the desired coverage.

Do you want the PPG/DuPont paint codes or just the closest "rattle can" substitute?? I have the paint codes and gloss levels.

For this area-rattle can. I have LI Corvettes semigloss. The condition of my original paint made it not evident what it was. Thank you

I have used SEM in Landau black. It is a perfect match and is formulated for use on plastic. I highly recommend it.

We used SEM Landau Black on ALL the black plastic parts of the A-Body Buicks we did. It is a perfect match for those cars, and I dyed a new green headliner with it (first time!) and it came out perfectly. I was totally surprised, as I am not a good painter.

Cheers,

Richard
