73 F250
87 CLT900
88 L8000

(can you guess how many batteries I have to buy each year?)

I have always considered myself a GM man, I never realized that I had so many Fords!. I really only wanted to buy 2 of them.

I can't speak for others, but for me it's a "touch my soul" motivation. I have always been a Ford guy, but loved the Corvettes from the point that I could drive a car. I have a 1966, factory-Shelby equipped Mustang Fastback, that I bought from the "Dealer delivered owner" in 1972; and I love it. I can't tell you how many Vettes bit the dust in a street drag race with this car - probably not the 365 hp equipped. A couple of months ago I bought a red 1965 C2, show room looks, and all original ex a 1970 350/375 Camaro, performance modified engine - we all love power. I love it same as my Mustang. For me it's not the brand; it's how it represents my passions at significant points in my life. I can't imagine anyone not admiring and wanting both cars - the attention they both draw is amazing.

Well, one not old, ones not real old and the other isn't real (but does have a vintage Ford drivetrain). That's a supercharged Ford Lightning - not obvious from the front.

The Vette probably wonders what the crap is going on around here.

Default Non-Corvette

One of my two Non-GM cars. This one customized in the 50's, found in Montana, last licensed in 1963 before my son and I brought it back to life. We just drive it and enjoy it. No worries about paint chips.

Lots of nice Fords here. I own a couple of boring examples, but may one day fall into "future collectible" status with one of them. The largest SUV ever built, and V10 powered.

For those of you old Ford owners, you may be interested in this link I came across today:

http://Www.vernsjunkyard.com

He’s been collecting old Ford parts for 5 decades and is putting his inventory of several acres up for sale.

Well, I consider my Crown Vic a classic.....a tremendous car....218,000 miles and still drives like new. Wish they still made them....I'd buy a new one in a heartbeat.

In addition to the AVATAR "rides" ('62 Vette owned for 51 years; '96 IMPALA SS/bought new): '57 Lincoln Premiere Landau (1st year for 4-dr Hard-Top) + '50 OLDS "88" 4-dr with "Factory to Dealer/Show-Room Use ONLY" plexiglas hood introduced in 1949 to show-case the new OVH V8. Fourth time I've owned a '50 "88", with the first one was also my "first car of my own"...

How about some pictures of that '50 with the Plexiglass hood?

My first car was one of Henry's creations. I actually had hair then and was skinny as a rail................a far cry from me today. I was 16 and the car was 12 in this pic, so do the math. LOL. Another one I wish I had kept.
