C2 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019

Default Insurance quotes

I'm looking to change my insurance from AAA to any of the collector car ins companies. I know about Grundy and Hagerty, but I'm wondering if there are others out there that i should look at. The difference in price between those two is pretty large. Are there others that you would recommend?

You can PM Adam Boca on here about the National Corvette Museum insurance....
I'll never go elsewhere -- they paid a very large claim for me -- no questions asked...

NCM fixed my deer strike front end. No issues with the repair quote. Couldn't have asked for better service. Adam's nice but Bobby Jo's voice is sweeter.

I just switched to NCM with my 1967 and 2014 vettes. Been with Shelter Ins for 46 yrs. NCM cut my premium on the pair by 50%. $501 per year on both with high $ stated values. Call Adam or Sharon in his office.

NCM doesn't write policies in New York. So I went with Grundy. Great company to deal with, and had the best prices!

After seeing how cleanly Frankie's claim went on his '63, I switched from Hagerty to NCM. I never had a claim with Hagerty but NCM saved me $151 per year, and allows me to drive 6000 miles per year...no restrictions.

I agree. I also have NCM. But they do have the same restrictions all the agreed value policies have (e.g. pleasure driving only. No errands. )

National Corvette Museum Insurance Company.
Great people; great coverage; great price.
No disappointments!
End of story.

I have my insurance with Hagerty, with no restrictions, I talked to NCM, at Carlisle, this summer and they were unable to duplicate what I have. Not sure if I'm paying too much or not, but I like having a policy with no restrictions.

Hagerty has restrictions on where you can drive your car just like all of the Agreed Value insurers:

Leif - I agree. Never had a drive that wasn’t a pleasure <LOL>.

Six years ago when I bought my car and insured it with NCM, I told Adam that I would take pleasure in an early morning drive along the lake to the gym each day. He agreed that we all would take pleasure in doing that but my car wouldn’t be covered if I do it.

I do not have restrictions on where I can drive or park, how much I can drive, what I can tow...same as insuring a new car. That is why NCM could not duplicate the policy.
