Default Sold the 64

To a nice guy in Granbury Texas. Him and his wife picked it up this past sunday. Bittersweet. It's going to a good family and I hope they enjoy it as much as I have for the past 25+ years. Here is a pic or two as we were loading it up from my home in Marana, Arizona.

Must have been a difficult decision for you.

By the way, looking at the floor of the trailer it looks like that's the first time a car has ever been loaded in it.

They didn't drive it back home? That would have been memorable.

I already have a 2007 Z06 so I'm good. Also just picked up a 2014 Rushmore edition Road King with 4800 miles on it.

Yup, he bought it new just to bring the 64 home. Looks like he values the car appropriately.....

I actually gave all the proceeds to my wife. A small token for all the crap she's had to put up with for the last 52 years.

Bittersweet indeed. I can feel your pain. Had mine for 27 years, and have been w/o it now for 5. Just now getting to the acceptance stage. However, looks like you've already moved on, and have at least one "new" toy, the HD, to help divert your attention. Enjoy the new ride!
