So, Have you had "adventures" like this your whole life?

Only since I was 16 and bought my first car. A 1964 Mercury Comet with a 260 V8 and C4 auto.

The front bench seat seat burst into flames when some “medicine” a friend was consuming had a seed explosion cause a hot ember to fall between the seat base and back. Funny part was that the flames didn’t really start until about an hour later when some girls were climbing in the back seat. Women have also been a source of misadventure in my life.

The part with the wife coming out to report to you that steam is coming out of the kitchen faucet just adds that sense of realism to the story.
