63 on Kindig's show tonight
Caught the show from, about, the middle to the end (first aired18 Dec 18) I have it recorded so we'll see all of it later. I think the lot of you guys will have an opinion on how he did that car. Some of the things are pretty cool. Probably a $1m build. Roadster Shop Chassis...Iguess the way he did the exhaust out of the rear bumpers is definitely unique. I didn't really like the fiberglass intakes for the LS, but some of you might like that. Still overall outstanding car.

I haven’t seen this particular show yet, but I recently stopped by their shop on a business trip and was very impressed. Not just from a quality of the cars and the builds, but from the people there. Very genuine and really awesome to talk to. It’s everything you see on the show and more. 👍

Whether you like the build or not you might have gotten the impression the owner was thankful his health issues subsided so he was able to enjoy the finish product.
Either way the quality of construction and execution looks to be top notch.

Just watched it myself. I liked the rear exhaust outlets. Regarding the intake, I kept thinking Notredrob has the functional intake through the hood, how come they can't? Overall, my favorite show.

I had recorded it, and the car looked amazing, and I really enjoyed watching the process. The owners heath change really was shocking to see, I hope he has fully recovered from that bout of pancreatitis, and is doing well now.
I really liked the hood design he had sketched up, & even though he was not able to make the intakes functional like he wanted to, I think he still should have went with that look on the hood, but I have always like the monochromatic look over shiny, not that the milled aluminum looked bad at all, but that look has been executed before.

It was pictured here a few weeks ago. Very nice build. Maybe a couple of over the top items. But still very nice.

I haven't seen anything he's done (nor anything I can think of on any other customizing show) that I'd fork over $1MM for...

My favorite car show. I met Dave a few years ago at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale. He took the time to talk with me for 10 min or so. I asked him what a typical build costs and he said $250k. If you watch the show you can understand the craftsmanship that goes into his builds. All that custom work they do, whether you like it or not, takes time and skill.
Regarding the 63 SWC last night, I loved most everything about it and would trade mine for it in a second.
It was very sad to see the owners health degrade. I went back and watched him in the beginning and couldn’t believe it was the same person. He even sounded different. It must have been serious because he himself said a couple of times he didn’t think he’d ever see the car.
Drive em while you can!

Really a great show. Some mods are not for me, but I am not the one paying for the build. He has top notch employees.

Wow! I took my wife to the airport early this morning as she is the advance party for our trip to Spokane WA for Christmas...anyway, then came home (took day off from work) and decided to watch the entire show/episode...Wow (again) the effort to make the exhaust go out of the bumpers was amazing...what an impressive "build"....so many other things really neat...and don't you just love to see a c2 in primer with all the crisp lines....[edit....I don't like the fiberglass intake deal....I like Ken wonder why they couldnt have come through the hood vents....but what do I know?]

I stopped by his shop in Salt Lake a few years ago, He and his staff are every bit as nice as they are on tv. I had never seen the show but my dad was a fan. I call and told him my dad was a fan and were moving the 61 back home with me and we were doing a "bucket list tour"... We had a private tour of the whole place and had a great time. I can't say thank you enough for making us feel welcome. Real down to earth car guys!

Their show is our favorite by far of all the custom shows. Dave Kindig has a great eye for design and what works well. His fabricators are certainly skilled and professional without the drama you often see from other shows.
We saw their 63 SWC build last night and they've done another fantastic job with that car.

They got carried away on the rear tire and rim size, almost looks pro street. Not a good look on a midyear.
Like the idea of skim coating, panel alignment and gap adjustment with short strand fiberglass filler instead of the VPA recommended here, inappropriately in my opinion.
Taking more time these days to explain and show fabrication techniques. great show!

Overall a beautiful build. I also wondered why they could not fabricate the air inlet through the hood vents. Really did not care for the end result intake system. Pretty cool to see them fabricate the custom 63 grills and bend them to fit the shape of the hood. What amazes me the most is the relative young age of his staff. They all are really craftsman at a younger age. And how does he find that many great, talented workers in Salt Lake City??? What's everyone's guesstimate the salaries of these guys. Must be fairly substantial. Good show BTW.

I watch that show I like the work they do. The intake was a let down. it needed side pipes LOL. and 6 tail lights. I liked the back bumpers the way they made them fit. the blue was a great color
