426 Hemi

Thinking of getting a set (car has red interior). The mats are supposed to be like the originals------just colored.

Anyhow they list "Red" and "Bright Red". Not sure if anyone has had experience with this.

Well I decided on the Bright Red. I'm thinking the straight Red mats are for '65 and up--------Bright Red being for '63-4. Kind of jived with what their tech rep looked up.

Fingers crossed that the thing is right.

Well I have those in black now -- and also in clear (those were a gift) - I RARELY install the clear ones unless its some big show or the like.
Those will pick up carpet color dye or oil stains and the like from your shoes in a New York minute - and it won't come out...

No problem, I hope it might help someone out. They offer them in a slew of other colors too.

Sort of strange, I've always thought of Legendary as mainly a Mopar outfit------not Corvette repros.

Edit, they also have some vintage looking vinyl mats that aren't repros of the originals. It's easy to get confused by those.

I posted in the other thread that mine finally came in from Eckler's....
Not bad, thick rubber with good molding......I'll just run them as is and not be overly protective; I think they can take it...

But that is one WHOLE lot of red in the cockpit of a coupe now for sure.
