Massive multiple-barn find
Maybe this has been posted before. If so, it’s worthy of a repeat. Jaw-dropper for sure.

C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
Yes, it's amazing and sad at the same time. We reviewed it last week I think, but it's worth seeing it again. Dennis

On the Pontiac Forums, about 6 years ago, a new member shared his 'barn' with the rest of us. With his dad, starting in the '70's, he started buying second hand '64-'67 GTO convertibles. All were rust free, decent driving cars, most with the good stuff, option-wise. There were 26 in all. The happy ending was that none of them had degraded, and he sold them one by one on ebay over the next few years. He kept one. Cars he sold ended up getting fixed up and put back in action or restored. All were saved. This is the exception, though, these days. When cars are stored in a damp climate or outdoors (especially in the woods) all bets are off. I know a guy who right now is letting his nice original '65 SS Chevelle (ragtop with factory AC) rot away in a wet barn because he abandoned a valve seal replacement job on it. Sitting there with the spark plugs out and rope stuck in one cylinder for the past 8 years or so. Oh well.........

When it’s your car, you get to take care of it (or not take care of it) as you see fit. But it’s a shame to waste a car when selling the car to someone who wants to treasure it can benefit everyone.
Oh well.

Very impressive but I also feel these cars and the effort the owner has made deserve somebody in the family to take the flame and keep running. Hope they do.

I've known about that collection since the 90's. Even though I've never seen the cars, the owner and I have a mutual friend who has been all over the property on more than one occasion. I knew about some of the cars featured, and know about some not shown in the video. I've also been told what the owner plans for the cars, and if it happens it's a pretty unique way of gifting these cars away. And like the host says, these cars cannot be bought.

Guy accumulated quite a collection. He’s got every right to do whatever he wants with them, or not.

The best line of the video, "...he bought them when they were cheap, and kept them because he loved them, not because they were worth a lot of money."

Yup, this is an amazing collection; hard to watch w/o thinking of "if only he'd cleaned 'em up and kept 'em nice". Some pretty nice ones in that collection. His wife seemed pretty understanding. I don't know of many who would do that.
