Default Side pipe cover - advice on purchase

I have a 1965 L79 coupe and have a set of 2.5 in side pipes - will need to buy some covers and molding also a hardware kit. Anyone that has gone through this please advise on vendors and product quality - any advise is appreciated - thanks !

They are all made by the same manufacturer. Just get your best price, and move on. You can also buy the "chrome" tips separately.

I am in the same boat. I have a set of stock covers but my 63 has I think 3” patriot pipes and are too big for the stock covers so I want to track down some cheap pipes/baffles.

I support purchases from Long Island Corvette Supply. They make so many of the parts we use and other Dealers just rebrand. If LICS ever folded we would suffer a great loss! Al W.

I have read on this forum where guys are fitting 3" pipes under the covers.

I would like to try to do it with my 3 inch patriot pipes but when I pulled the aftermarket heat shields off it didn’t appear that there would be room because of where the pipe bands to go into the engine compartment .

Brian is the only one the makes the outer aluminum cover other venders buy them and install their own insulators.
