2023 C2 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified

Default

After sitting in my garage for almost 11 months with only a couple quick wipe downs with a California duster and then trailering it back from Lars on a wet interstate the car was filthy! Even though we are expecting another 6 inches of snow tonight, I had to get out and wash it. And of course take it for another short drive.
The connectors and tools I ordered to make the fuel line will be delivered Wednesday and I will pick up the steel line tomorrow.

I also want to thank Lars for fixing my car and for starting this thread (and adding to my original thread), both of which has helped me and others learn a few things.
I also HIGHLY recommend you use Lars to do work on your car if you are anywhere near the Denver area, in or out outside of Colorado. His work is outstanding and his prices are extremely reasonable. He must have given me a Colorado state resident discount
And to top it off, he is a great guy with an interesting background and easy to talk to! Turns out he has flown a P-51 Mustang so we made plans to get together this summer so he can tour the National Museum of WW II Aviation, where I volunteer.

Great stuff. I have a very similar setup, same carb, rubber fuel line. Could I get the same fuel line fix instructions?

I must have got lucky because my throttle rod is installed at the top and I get wide open throttle.
