I bought my first 65 coupe when i was 18, then bought a 61 at 19 and then a 69 convertible when i was 24. It's been a while back though.
All had 4 speeds. the 69 had a helluva 427 in it. all long gone now. I've always enjoyed these cars. Saw my first corvette, a brand new 65 when i was about 10 and thought man what a cool car. got me one when i was 18.

I bought my first corvette when I was 15. Worked at a small grocery store for $1.00 an hour. It was a 1961 Honduras’s moroon.both tops, automatic. Walked by it everyday on way to school, sitting along a garage.
One day the guy was out mowing and asked if he’d sell the car. I bought it for $500, my dad had to drive it home for me. That was in 1970.

44. First C2 as a daily driver at 23 for 5 years. Took it off the road to restore it. It mainly sat waiting for time and funds until I sold it in 2012. Seller’s remorse followed. Purchased another C2 the same year and have been driving and working on it since.

48 here. Have had mine for 2 years. Dad purchased it in 1983, and I've wanted it ever since. Now I have her and it has been a dream come true.
