Default Opinions wanted on whitewalls with knockoofs

Leaning toward white walls over the gold lines.

What is your opinion of whitewalls with knockoffs on a Nassau Blue roadster with white top, black interior.

Any recommendations on the make & model?

What width whitewall do you think looks best?

It's a personal choice. After weighing all the options, I went with whitewalls because that's the look I prefer.

These 3 beauties above are likened to Sophia Loren; when you have a gorgeous body,it doesnt REALLY matter what color shoes she wears!!! But, I am partial to the blue girl with the white shoes!

I like whitewalls but the next time I buy tires, I’m going to try to find some with the white a little further out from the wheel so there’s about 1/4” or so of additional black between the wheel and the white.

I had Diamond Back add white walls that are the same size and position as stock red walls.

Lets face it, any tire on a Mid Year with knock offs looks great, my preference would be Gold Lines, not knock offs but you get the idea.

White walls are about 90 bucks a tire. Goldlines and redlines are about 250 per tire. What’s your budget

I purchased the car painted and it had gone through NCRS judging. It got killed for paint. Believe it or not it is marina blue (looks much darker here given the light). The issue with the paint was not the “color” it was the size of the metallic used. Because it’s larger then the original Marina blue, the way it looks under different lighting conditions is quite different. I purchased an original paint sheet for 1967 cars and held it next to my paint and it’s crystal clear... right color, wrong metallic.

The good news is I love the paint which is why I bought it.

Here’s a link to my personal website where you can see the paint under different conditions.

I’ll show you what I mean. Here’s two pictures. One in the sun with my daughter driving and the other before the sun came up. The color in the morning is one of the nicest I’ve seen.

I see what you mean, both pictures look like a different color of Blue. The top picture is my choice. I must be the "few" Corvette Forum members" who do not care about NCRS judging" Don't enter car shows to win. This way I can never leave the car show disappointed. Part of my Hobby & to enjoy the outdoor Summer weather. Plus, to see other antique cars/trucks while meeting new people.
