I wouldn't consider a BB purchase without a competent inspection - prob the most "faked" car out there....
It would be money well spent and a top shelf inspector was already mentioned in this thread...

I'm confused - are you bidding on this car on Fleabay or trying to buy it outright from someone?
And how does one become a senior member in less than 2 months?

If you get it, can we put flares on it?!
GV, most of the experts here are much better at reviewing the pictures and calling out the missing or incorrect details. I’ve learned a bunch from them. Simply listing the differences is not as much fun, nor does it inspire the competitive spirit the way posting a few pictures where people can demonstrate what they know does.

As for the L plates, when I lived in London it took me awhile to realize that cars with L plates contained new drivers who should be tormented by other drivers. It helped speed up the learning curve. Kind of like this forum.

roadster65 are you looking for a real 427/435 with real paper work and a real born with engine. if so you might want to join NCRS and start networking with the elite 67 crew and better have the cash at hand and ready. if your looking for a 67 with a BB in it with no provenance. then you might get lucky on here and on line

Hi Keith - This car seems to tick all the boxes (except colour) and paper work by way of Build Sheet, Protecto Plate and original Purchase Papers appear to support provenance along with a detailed history file of receipted work(s) undertaken since day 1 - very appealing, hence my interest. - GV

The presence of two of each bothers me. One set is repro. But are the other set real? Or aged repro ones. One thing about BB mid years is question everything and get many opinions from trusted folks.

I don't know the car so I cannot comment on its authenticity. My humble opinion is that it will go between 180-195K Aus....... ( and I could be totally wrong)
If it is a genuine car, it makes it a great buy for you fellas over in the States given the exchange rate and our weak dollar.

This car is legitimate. It was up for sale a few months back on a car selling website consigned to a car dealership, I kept an eye on it for a while. It had a price tag of $215,000 - $219,000 Aus dollars if my memory serves me correct but it never sold.

Is the asking price "just under $80,000" or something else? In the original post it was stated that was the asking price but several others have posted that they have seen it listed much higher. At $80k it's too cheap to be real but might be a good deal as a clone. If the price is as listed in some of the other posts I wouldn't consider it without an inspection by a qualified individual. As stated the steering column is wrong. Post some pics of the stamp pad and more detailed photos. That can settle the questions.

Send me a pm if you are interested and I will give you a contact in Australia that can possibly shed some light on this car.
