Wheel Suggestions Needed for my black 63 SWC restomod
Would like wheel suggestions for my black 63 SWC restomod build in progress. Car will be black with factory chrome bright work and sidepipes. Will have an Art Morrison GT sport 3" drop chassis and mintubs and so plenty of clearance for large rear wheels. Thinking 18/20 or 19/20 with 8-9" front and 10-13" rear width. I'm a newer car guy and so I'm struggling to pick something that is more fitting to the 63. I'm thinking deep dish rear as opposed to much of the new model wheel styling. Spoke to HRE (I have 3 piece HREs on a Porsche turbo) and they also suggested three price wheels to get the deep dish look. Previously considered Strausse carbon fiber wheels for a Lambo I had but went with something different in gloss black. Aesthetics are important. I've seen countless really nice builds that people have cheaped-out at the end and put crappy looking wheels on. I want the wheels to complement the lines and look of the car. I'm thinking either chrome or some combination of black and chrome but I'm just not sure. Need to select the wheels and get them ordered and here before the chassis arrives to fit the body to the running gear. Feel free to suggest sizes as well. I'm running factory rear quarters but if needed we will cut them off and install the 1.5" flared fenders (trying to avoid that if possible but as would really like to keep the factory lines / panels). I don't mind spending the money for the right wheel setup and so throw out your suggestions.

Nothing looks better then torque thrust on a c2. US mag makes one with a little difference to it. It's a U501 Concave any size back space or color. And they make a really cool spinner for it to

If HRE are in the budget than within reason price is not an issue. As a suggestion maybe take al look at some billet wheel companies like Budnik or Billet Specialties (the Vintage Series and Legends Series in particular). They both offer modern versions of "old school" wheels built to your specs. Keep in mind custom finishing is an option. IMCO these cars look great with "old school" type wheels finished to look like "as cast grey centers" or "magnesium " finish.

Wheels are a Make or Break for a car. What do you want them to project about the car, Classic, Classier, or Class?
The wheel on this car were to give it a Class Look.
The wheels on this one, are strictly to reduce weight of car.
