My car 63 is in the paint shop and thinking of a viper blue. But then the other day I saw a Lime Rock Green which really look nice. Anybody out there have a c2 painted Lime Rock Green? Just curious. Not sure it would look as good on an older body style.

45 years ago a neighbor had a 63 coupe painted bright lime green. It looked awful and you could not hide the thing.

I know I'm in the minority, but Im with you....absolutely love that color! I think it would look really good on a C2 with a non-metallic white stinger, especially if you could dial the metallic in the green back just a tad. As it was applied to the C7 and Camaro, I personally think it has just a bit too much metallic, which makes it look a little too modern.

Are you referring to the newer C7 Lime rock green like this one below, or do you have an example of the color you are thinking?

As the longtime owner of several Goodwood Green 67s, I have to say that Lime Rock green on an original Sting Ray sucks big time IMHO. Too gaudy for the subtleties of a C2 but not so bad on the showy C7.

I also am debating a color for my c2 it is a very important decision. Just my opinion but no on that green

Not liking it for an original '63 hood. Now if that '63 had a '67 hood with a white stinger, I think that combo would rock!

That green is a bit much for me. How about Polo Green? BADBIRDCAGE built this one.

Was that a 80s color? Slightly darker then Good Wood. I like that. I'm now thinking 57 porsche aqua marine or one of those greens for my car

I was hoping the reaction would be different but kind of thought it might be to flashy. I really like blue but already have two classics and not sure I need another one. Looking for an alternative color. And yes it does have a stinger hood that will get the strip painted. That is one mod I am keeping in car. Not an original engine or trans plus had the 70’s mod treatment. Glassed over the headlights, hooker headers and three taillights. Paint shop putting back to stock now I just have to pick the right color.

62 so 250 Daimler. My dad loved the warriors.

That green c7 (i think that is correct) sure is beautiful, but this picture of the three c2's is just perfect. At times I have wondered if I needed this vette and another project. But that picture says it all. They are just beautiful cars. Mine will look good just have to find a color!!

The red one is my 68 that has to go to pay for the 63
I actually sold the torque thrust wheels off the 63 and had to put my rally's on the 63 to get it to the paint shop.lol I have been following FlyNavy30s 63 forum trying to pick out wheels.
